THE MAXWELL PARK NEIGHBORHOOD COUNCIL, one
of Oaklands Neighborhood Crime Prevention Councils,
consists of the residents, institutions and businesses
of Police Beat 28X.
MISSION
STATEMENT The Maxwell Park Neighborhood Council
(MPNC) works to create a socially cohesive community
that acts for the common good by promoting trust, respect
and understanding.
OUR
OBJECTIVES The MPNC initiates actions to create
a safe and beautiful environment by working cooperatively
with the Oakland Police Department and Oakland City
Council Districts 4 & 6 representatives, as well
as linking to local institutions (churches, schools,
Boys and Girls Club, Mills College) and agencies such
as City of Oakland Public Works and Cal Trans.
